I know I have done my job well when patients leave their appointments feeling well-educated about their disease and treatment options. Patients should feel empowered to make decisions when multiple options are available and comfortable proceeding with the chosen treatment.My clinical focus is on the treatment of breast, gynecologic and metastatic cancers. I believe in a compassionate, individualized and evidence-based approach to treating cancer patients. I provide a variety of specialized procedures, including 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Extracranial Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) or Stereotactic Ablative Radiation Therapy (SABR) and Intracranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).My research interests include understanding causes for and reducing side effects of cancer treatments and improving and individualizing radiation therapy for patients.
