When I meet with a patient, my goal is to understand the full picture of their health, and work to connect the dots. Many conditions are deeply interconnected — for example, sleep and epilepsy often influence each other and can be affected by other medical issues as well. Epilepsy also has unique implications for women's health, especially during menstruation, pregnancy, breastfeeding and menopause.Collaborating closely with my patients and their broader care teams is a natural and essential part of how I work. I prioritize clear communication, empowering patients with information, and ensuring their care is well-coordinated and personalized.Every patient has their own needs and circumstances, so I strive to provide specialty care with the whole person in mind.
