I'm the Elliot W. Shipman Professor of Ophthalmology and serve as Chief of Ophthalmology and Director of Clinical Research. I hold dual appointments at the Larner College of Medicine and University of Vermont Health. My clinical and research interests focus on the retina and vitreous, and I evaluate and treat conditions including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and surgical retina disorders. I'm also a reviewer for multiple international ophthalmic journals and hold leadership roles in local, regional and national ophthalmologic organizations.
