I'm a Montpelier High School graduate and practiced medicine in Austin, Texas for 24 years. I attended medical school at University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and completed two years of general surgery training, followed by a urology residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C. Prior to joining Central Vermont Medical Center Urology, I was a urologic surgeon at Urology Austin in Texas. With nearly a quarter century of experience in general adult urology, I have an extensive background in treating conditions such as urologic oncology (prostate, bladder, kidney), stone disease, prostate disease and voiding dysfunction, infertility, incontinence, female pelvic floor dysfunction and erectile dysfunction. I have a particular interest in prosthetic urology, Peyronie's disease and sacral nerve neuromodulation. I also have experience with robotic surgery including prostatectomy, nephrectomy and sacrocolpopexy.I enjoy getting to know my patients and communicating with them not only about their medical issues but about their lives. People come from such varied and unique backgrounds. When we are able to establish a good connection, it is much easier to work together as a patient and a doctor to address their health concerns.
